INTRODUCTION
SUMU™ is a finnish word that means "fog". The model is a value based leadership development system designed for equipping leaders for the challenges of today and tomorrow. The aim is to empower leaders to flourish in environments of increasing uncertainty (= in foggy landscape).
We stand in front of huge challenges like climate change, geopolitical conflicts, an economic crisis and challenges related to the digital revolution.
The aim of SUMU™ is to equip people to courageously confront challenges and take charge of building a better future.

Learning to lead takes a lifetime.
At the core of the SUMU™ Leadership Development System is the four wheels of learning, designed to foster growth and development.

GROWTH PLAN
With our SUMU™ Growth Plan you become intentional with developing your leadership skills.
Learning with SUMU™ is intentional. You will start your SUMU™ process by reflecting on your personal leadership goals, strategies and values. You will create your own plan for learning for the next six months. The plan can include litterature, places to visit, people to network with and experiments to be done.
The plan includes three perspectives

2. Reality
3. Strategy
BIG 9 THEORIES
Learn the most important and usable leadership theories as easy as possible!
SUMU™- consists of nine powerful and easy-to-use leadership tools, each derived from proven and renowned leadership theories.
The nine forms are like maps for a leader that helps you to navigate in a specific situation. The theories include nine different situations or goals you want to succeed in as a leader.
The BIG NINE theories are presented through intuitive geometric shapes that help you to memorize and also share them with your team.
The world is full of information, theories, books and guides for developing your leadership skills. In the SUMU- model we have put the most important and useful tools into one toolbox. The tools and theories are formed as visual shapes for the simple reason of making it easier for you to memorize them and teach them to others around you.
As the anglican vicar Mike Breen concluded: "Language creates culture". When you share the same leadership language, you are creating a culture of continuous development and growth in your community.
ACCOUNTABILITY PERSON
Sharing your goals with someone you admire will help you achieve them.
In the SUMU™ model, an "accountability person" plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of your growth.
An accountability person also helps you in making courageous moves in your leadership journey.
This trusted individual helps keep you on track, providing support and motivation while holding you accountable for your actions and goals.
Having an accountability person increases your chances of achieving your objectives, making them an invaluable part of your leadership development journey.
SUMU™ MASTERMIND GROUPS
The platform for learning from experience is reflection together with others in dialogue.
SUMU™ Mastermind groups are development platforms that aim to boost your growth and learning. In these groups, people come together to help each other succeed by sharing different ideas and advice.
They talk about tough problems and work together to find the best solutions. Being part of a mastermind group makes everyone stronger and smarter, helping them achieve their goals quicker than if they were working alone.
These groups also create a friendly community where everyone supports each other, making it easier and more enjoyable to grow and succeed.
